Our Year 10 chemists have been busy in the lab this week, carrying out electrolysis experiments with aqueous sodium chloride and copper chloride solutions. Plenty of bubbles, colour changes... and just a hint of that classic swimmingbaths smell drifting down the corridor! Fantastic work, Year 10! #scienceeducation #GreatParkAcademy #gosforthgroup #creatingfutures
View PostArt in Action Across Upper Key Stage 2! Earlier this month, our bidding Year 5 and Year 6 artists have been developing their skills... Year 5 have been diving deep into colour theory. From experimenting with colour mixing to practising careful control of their paintbrushes, they've been building the foundations for confident, expressive painting. The creativity in the classroom has been incredible! Year 6 have begun their new topic, Portraiture, by completing detailed observational sketches. They've shown real focus and skill, carefully studying faces, proportions, and shading techniques to bring their drawings to life. We're so proud of the artistic talent flourishing across our school! #Art #Creativity #GreatParkAcademy #gosforthgroup #creatingfutures #inspiringstudents #Portraiture #ColourTheory #SchoolLife

This week's guide helps parents and educators understand the risks, from misleading visuals and algorithm-driven recommendations to desensitisation and edgy humour. It also offers practical advice on platform settings, open conversations and building children's critical thinking, so young people can navigate online animation safely and confidently. #OnlineSafety #keepingchildrensafeonline #GosforthGroup #CreatingFutures #GreatParkAcademy
