At Great Park Academy, we have launched our biggest and most ambitious reading challenge yet!
We have 50 amazing books of different genres and themes, which we hope to explore across our first two years at Great Park Academy. Every time we complete a book, we have an enjoyable, informal chat with any member of staff and receive a reward sticker in our planner.
Points really do make prizes here and, after every 10 books read, we can collect a special prize and badge. Miss Readman is our resident super reader and we love to compete against her own sticker collection!
So far this academic year, many children have completed not one but two novels! There is such a positive, determined feel around reading in our school!
